Quick start

GhostPostt turns any URL into a full set of platform-ready content in under 10 seconds. Here’s how to get your first bundle:

Supported URLs

GhostPostt can extract content from a wide variety of source types:

  • Articles & blog posts — any publicly accessible web page with body text
  • YouTube videos — we extract the full transcript (supports auto-generated and manual captions)
  • Podcast episodes — works with any publicly accessible audio URL or show notes page
  • Newsletters — Substack, Beehiiv, ConvertKit, and most email-first platforms have public web versions
  • Twitter / X threads — paste a thread URL and repurpose it into other formats
Note: Paywalled content can’t be accessed. If a page requires a login, we’ll extract whatever is available in the page metadata and open content.

Output types

Every generation produces a bundle. Which outputs are included depends on your plan:

X / Twitter thread

3–7 tweet thread with a strong hook, supporting points, and a call-to-action tweet.

LinkedIn post

Long-form LinkedIn post (600–900 chars) with native formatting and a strong opening line.

Instagram captions

5 caption variants with different angles: educational, personal, punchy, question-led, and story-driven.

SEO blog draft

Title, meta description, H2 outline, intro paragraph, and first full section. Pro+ only.

Threads post

Single long-form Threads post optimised for the platform’s discovery algorithm. Pro+ only.

Repurpose Brief

A metadata card: word count, key topics, sentiment, estimated audience, and reading time.

Brand voice training

Brand voice lets GhostPostt write in your style, not a generic one. Available on Pro and Agency plans.

Training a voice

Go to Settings → Brand Voice and create a new voice profile. You can train it in two ways:

  • Sample upload — paste 3–5 pieces of your own writing. GhostPostt extracts your tone fingerprint: sentence length, vocabulary preferences, formality level, and hook style.
  • Manual settings — set formality (1–10), preferred sentence length, use of emojis, and up to 10 custom rules ("always use Oxford comma", "never use the word 'leverage'").

Once trained, select your voice from the dropdown on any output screen. Use the Voice Strength slider to dial how strongly your voice influences the output.

Exports

Every output can be exported or scheduled directly:

  • One-click copy — copies the output to your clipboard, formatted correctly for each platform
  • Download as Markdown — a clean .md file with all outputs and metadata (Starter+)
  • Export to Notion — creates a Notion page in your connected workspace (Starter+)
  • Send to Buffer — sends directly to your Buffer queue with correct character limits (Pro+)
  • Send to Later — sends directly to Later with image slots reserved (Pro+)

Plans & limits

One generation = one URL processed = one full output bundle. Generations reset on your monthly billing date.

  • Lite — 5 generations / month
  • Starter — 20 generations / month
  • Pro — 200 generations / month
  • Agency — Unlimited

You’ll receive an email notification when you reach 80% of your monthly limit. We don’t auto-charge overages — you’ll simply be prompted to upgrade.
